If the Cheyenne got into the MIG's wake and hit enough turbulence that the tail broke off, i guess that's a no touch mid air.

You have to wonder if they flew the T-tail into the jet exhaust.

Local news reported no damage to the MIG-21 when the pilot made a post landing inspection.

That was my thought - wouldn't want to get behind a MIG's jet stream...
