Absolutely the results link will be published here and all other locations where it has been posted, PPRune, APC, airliners.net and many others. I need to include in the sample more private pilots. Any help appreciated.

I think you may want to edit your orginal post to state that the survey is geared toward professional pilots. Most of our pilots here are not professional pilots, although we do have at least a few on the board.

Are you looking for private pilots or just professionals?

I've been flying for over 40 years, nearly all of it professionally, and I've never heard of an endorsement from the NTSB (Q 17). Also, this appears geared not just toward professional pilots, but towards air carrier pilots.

Hmm. With all due respect, for the most part, this survey could be taken by any employee group. In fact, in my opinion, a lot of the questions do not really apply to the pilot profession, especially the airline pilot profession.

I kind of wonder what the objective of the study is.

I tried the survey but I didn't get past the first page since I felt that I would just be guessing at the answers. What is the difference between "Commercial Aviation" and "Civil Aviation"? I also couldn't come up with an average rest between assignments. That would be anywhere from 10 hours to a month or so. There's also the question that Ron mentioned. I don't think I got to the personality part but maybe the fact that I couldn't continue says something about it...

Given the nature of the questions posed in this thread, I suspect that a great deal of informed consent is lacking. That makes me wonder what exactly goes on in the IRB of this school. Moreover, I see no verification of subject identity; I did a couple pages without a challenge for certificate number of anything else that would prove I am what I say I am. Some of the questions simply don't apply to our culture (in the US the difference between one and three children is a rather great one). Nor do I see any mention of what kind of security will be used for the information gathered.

This is at best poor scholarship.
