Will AA paint their MD-80s in the new colors?

Probably depends on the maintenance cycle and when they plan on being retired and replaced by 737's.

Since current CEO of AA won't be there after the merger, it appears there is no PIC of AA.

So far they have a 73 77-3 and a 76-3 painted (Eagle CRJ-700 ERJ) I heard no way on the MD-80 as they are accelerating the replacement of the type with the 73
