A Very Visible Cessna 206

Pretty. And I hope it expands the operating envelope for Penobscot the way they hope it will.

That Piper was on lease to the local flight school a few years ago.
Nice flying Lance back then. That paint would attract attention on the ramp and the flight school painted their Cessna 172s to match.

The airplane was on the market a few years ago with a run out engine. Looks like someone bought it and overhauled the engine, now 300 hrs SMOH and 64hrs on new prop.

i saw a Viking once with that sort of paint job (like the Lance) when I went to Arlington for an SSA Convention. Was telling my Dr. friend about it and how ugly/embarrassing it was. Turns out it was his ride for that day!

And thanks to whomever "Digital Goat" is, who apparently handles the web duties for what's probably otherwise a nice little newspaper, if you hit that website with whatever they deem a "mobile browser", they strip all the photos.

Jerks don't even provide a "see our fully featured website" link.

Bad 90s web designer with no brains! No donut!!

;)

Overall I'm not really into the whole "paint my everything like a Texas flag to show my state pride," I think it's tacky. But that Lance looks pretty nice to me. I'd gladly fly it. I think it has more to do with the fact that it's more than a white paint job with some straight line on it.
