that, with the exception of us old retired farts, the great bulk of the entries here
are made during working hours.

For that I would like to thank the employers of America for providing the grist for
this mill... the quorum for the forum...the mass for the class...the beef for Clara...

you noticed that too, huh, Norm?!?!?!

I'm innocent...I've living off of the taxpayer these days too! ;)

That's a very astute observation. Here's the thing though - the only time I'm glued to a computer is during working hours. On my off hours I don't even want to touch a computer.

I don't necessarily see anything patently wrong with it. The average work person that sits at a desk behind a computer for the majority of the day is going to work a bit, zone out a bit, work on something different, zone out a bit, go back and work on another thing, yada yada yada. If one is in zone out mode, one might as well post to the POA.

POA posting doesn't affect my work productivity. At least for what I do. I guess that makes a statement in itself though. If you're my middle manager or worker bee, I don't care if you post to Internet message boards as long as you get your projects and assignments complete. If you're my call girl, you really shouldn't be posting on Internet message boards while I'm straight going to work. Kinda makes me lose my concentration.

When I land I look at what the line boy (is there a political correct term) is doing on the computer. Playing a game, playing flight simulator or improving his mind by reading POA.

Our dealership website traffic is mainly from 9AM to 4PM Monday-Friday, it dies after 4:00 PM and is very quiet on the weekends.

Self-employed.
It's my time, and I'll waste it anyway I want to....

I think if you where to go further the stats would be fairly close on FB.

But - I only work on days that end in 'Y'. And I only work on hours between 00:00:01 - 23:59:59.

The WWW* never shuts down. Ever. (world wide wait)
