My day at the office today.

I've declared war on these swamp rats, hence the reason my wife needs to quit killing all my snake allies.

And yes, if you can somehow keep your eyes off the alarmingly handsome balding pasty white guy with a beer gut, that is a velvet Elvis in the background. :D

Great idea! I use a Daisy for coons and possums, too, pumped 10 times works well.

Pumped 10 times you'll put a hole in your shop wall, though. Add a nice, small scope and you can pick off those rats from 30 yds away, easy. Just take a few minutes to zero it. And use pellets, not BBs. The rifling keeps the pellets going straight, but BBs tend to have a mind of their own.

The BB's come out like curve balls they always hook left or right.

.177 pellets are great, but the firing rate is slow. Safety on, open breech, pump X times, load pellet, close breech, safety off, aim, fire.

But coons on the porch at night prefer to hide under the chairs where I can see & shoot them. My record is 4 shots at three coons, no bodies in the morning but they stay away now.
