Air Force 2 flew in this morning to bring VP Pence to town.

Never fly without first checking for NOTAMs and/or TFR’s.

That is all
G’day!

What's in Tennessee that brought the VP there to visit?

Checking NOTAMs might not even work.

A few years back one VP not worth mentioning under the donkey party decided to drop into Albuquerque unannounced once for some tacos but said he was there to help a weak party member, causing an instant unplanned TFR.

With the unannounced TFR and weather working in which made unexpected holds come alive, some airlines had to divert to other locations for fuel. One poor airline had a warning light for the anti-lock braking system not working. They did not have an airport with a suitable length dry runway within their fuel range. I do not know where they ended up at.

I was doing an air ambulance flight and had to land and make some phone calls to get permission to come in so the med crew could get the patient to the hospital.
