A new windsock at the Owyhee strip.

I flew down to the Owyhee Reservoir State airstrip a few days ago and noticed the windsock was needing replaced. So I called the Oregon Department of Aviation and told them. They sent me a new one to put up there. Since it is a State airport they furnish the windsocks. Today my friend Steve Paulson and I flew down and put the new sock up. The water is high and the runway is a little rough. It is 1840 ft long and it says 30 Ft. wide but that was when it was made I think. We worked a little more with my new Garmin 696 also. It was a good flight.
