I've always scratched my head at Fifty Six.

Fifty Six (and bunches of other numbered communities) were named after the school houses nearby which were numbered. I grew up near Twenty Three, north of Bald Knob.

And let's not forget Weiner, Possum Grape, and Oil Trough (named after what the blood looked like after a bunch of hog slaughters).
