Across the desert SW to San Diego with visits to the SD Zoo, Torrey Pines.
Is there a place to add a description to each pic?
Well, the titles describe them.
A few notes:
At Torrey Pines, we watched the parasailers float away then ride the upslope back and forth, one landed among the nude bathers 500' below. Travelling across the SW you see a lot of rock, sand, then a few valleys with lush farmland. One pic captures both plus a life giving canal off the Colorado River as it heads to the Gulf of California (my guess is the river is almost dry by then)
For the cat-lovers, a real cat from the zoo. At Torrey pines we saw a/c zooming by including one below the bluff, look closely for the cessna.
