These are videos I've made in the past two months documenting full flights in my Mooney Acclaim. I speed up the enroute portions to make the videos a watchable length.

First up, Denver Centennial (KAPA) to Concord Buchanan Field (KCCR) in early May:

Next, John Wayne Airport (KSNA) to Concord Buchanan Field just last week:

I'm going to try to figure out how to add another camera to capture the G1000 displays during flight. Any suggestions?

eh, baby steps......start with audio (ATC audio, not 20 minutes of noise audio).

If you just want a few short clips of your panel, capture that with your phone. You can combine the 2 separate video streams in your editing software. While you're at it, don't be shy about splitting your footage, only keeping the highlights of each leg or flight segment. Even speeded up, keeping all of the video intact can be boring for someone not on the flight. You might want to intersperse still pictures of planning the flight, packing and unpacking the plane or other interesting aspects of the departure or arrival airport with the flight video to keep it more compelling for your audience.

Agreed, but the alternator noise in my plane makes that even worse. Another one of my YouTube videos proves it. Once I cure that I will gladly substitute ATC for the engine.

Thanks for that suggestion. Do you have any YouTube videos I can check out?

here's one:

then click on my username in youtube to see my other videos. all audio on my flying vids was done the way I mentioned above.

other than the one vid that's almost 10 minutes long, I try to keep them real short so people don't get bored. you know, a take off, a landing, a shot of downtown etc..
