Hi, does anyone know a good source to find aircraft "cutout" style diagrams so I can see how several potential aircraft would have to be positioned to fit into a hanger??

generally in the front of the service manual for each model. photocopy, adjust scale, cut them out.
 
Don't forget the vertical dimension (high wing over low wing overlap or high wing over cowl)
 
If it's an important calculation, a software package is available for download.

In many cases the limiting factor is the ability to pivot planes into the necessary space without exceeding turn limits. A "Tow-Bot" tug will accomplish such work easily and without any strain on the gear.
