I had the distinct honor to fly The Berlin Candy Bomber into the Backcountry of Idaho a few years back. I shared this with the red board, However,I don't see some of you over there. So I will share this landing at Chanberlain Basin, in the Frank Church Wilderness Area with you. (Video)
If you have forgoten your history, Gail Halvorson was the C54 pilot that dropped candy to the little German children In 1948-49 during the Berlin Airlift Operation. He is doing the filming and the narration during my landing. Enjoy. Bob
