70th anniversary Bataan

My great Uncle was one of the prisoners in the Bataan death march... He told me stories that to this day still give me nightmares.:hairraise::hairraise:..

Las Cruces, NM - the state where most of the remaining survivors live.

a pal did a fly-over for it.

Learn more about the topic here. 76,000 soldiers, unbelievable conditions at the hands of sadistic killers. Important that us humans try to learn from it.

The youngest of those survivors are 87, (if they were 17 in 1942) most are older.
I have visited Corregidor, and 1 cemetery in the P.I. and it will boggle your mind what these men survived.

My uncle made the whole trip day 1 to end of war,( Army Corps of Engineers) My aunt said he went in as one person and came out another. and he would't talk about it.
