No free wifi or sifi for a fee anywhere. 6Y9 is really back woods!!! That is one of the charms of the place, there is not even cell coverage in town. But good ice cream and friends!

And for a phone if you can't get one bar on your cell phone (which you usually can't), you can use the pay phone a couple blocks from the airport... Last time I was here, I had to shut the doors to hear the FSS briefer while a train rumbled past! Pay phone doesn't take change, either.... Only allows 1-800 numbers or calling cards. (And I'm not complaining!)
