Pilots,
I'm in search of a 6 seater rental that can do weekend hops to the Bahamas.
Due to poor long term planning, I had too many kids & won't fit in a 172. An Aztec, Seneca or Cherokee 6 would be ideal.

Any flying club or private owner in SE Florida....please reach out to me.

Thanks, Tommy

Where did you fly tankers?

From SE Florida, the Bahamas are only a very short hop. Save money by buying a 4-seater and making two trips. ;)

I make this flight to my place every 3 weeks. First plane I owned was a Cherokee 6. It hauled everything that I asked it to but did so at 135kts. After one trip that took just shy of 3 hours and another one that had me fly about 100 miles out of my way to avoid storms, I sold it and bought a C310Q. Now after 2 years in the 310Q, I am selling it to move on to pressurization and AC.

Prior to all of that, I rented a C206.

Having said that, a C206 is going to be the most common in the rental fleet and much faster than the Cherokee 6.
