I think you're seeing both mains, rather than one twisted. Still a great shot.

Good point. That's what I get for not looking closely.

I got the same file from a Marine pilot buddy today. It sure looked that touchdown was on the chevrons. Just a tad short.

I can't see the pictures, but referring to the gear twist, I belive Triple-7 mains can castor to assist the turning radius.

Not exactly. The aft two wheels on the main trucks do steer to aid in turning radius, but not the whole truck.
