Hello all!
I am wanting to start training this summer or fall if possible. However I am wondering about the medical. I was born with a heart defect called Tetralogy of Fallot. It was repaired when I was 5. But in 2007, the repair they used to think was permanent was no longer working correctly and they had to replace my pulmonary valve. I chose a pig valve because they said some people can hear the artificial ones click.
Anyway, wondering if any knows if this will be a denied medical or will need a SI?
Don't want to get too excited if it isn't even an option. I am 51 by the way, in case it matters. :)

This depends on two things: was the VSD completely closed, and the severity of the other components is the tetralogy.....
