3658 NM Western Cross Country Help

6) KAPC..LLC..BAM.PARZZ.PIH..IDA.LO.KWYS -652nm -this is where I really question my route without experience, etc. I originally planned the Northern follow I90 home from the west coast route to keep it easy. Given Napa to Yellowstone...this seems like an okay route but would love to hear from others. Also, getting into and out of KWYS in October??

Are you questioning the route because of the middle of nowhere? I didn't follow I-80 across Wyoming and didn't die. Plus you have a twin. Maybe I'm too risky here, but it doesn't bother me. I'm still planning my route home through Utah/Colorado and it's pretty remote for a few hours. Go at 11,500 and you won't have any terrain issues. I've flown that section of Idaho you're going through (once) and the only bumps you should get would be normal afternoon heat if there is any. The approach into WYS could be bumpy.

P.S. You could go a little more north through Idaho and get some cool views of the lava fields.
