Our runway is closed for 2 weeks (complete re-surfacing), so I'm taking the time to detail out the Cessna. I've filled the thousand and one paint scratches with matching paint (oddly and conveniently enough, Rustoleum white).

Now it's time to buff things out. I've got a monster buffer, but nothing for detail work. Amazon has them from $17 to a couple hundred $$.

What have you found that works well, with results that made you smile? Performance aces cost, within reason.

Thanks!

Jim

2 or 3 out of school teens, $150, and a Tom Sawyer outlook on life.

Nothing beats the Cyclo but no, they ain't cheap.

I wonder what @Jay Honeck used with that insulator wax to get Amelia so shiny.

Griots garage is an excellent product...it's what I have and use it for detailing my vehicles

I would recommend the 6" and just get the 4" backing plates for the smaller areas

Never thought of that, CC268! I already have a nice multi-speed 6'" buffer...I just need to find the 4" plates. :)

Fgriki....that's exactly what I had been looking at. The Cyclo is a sweet unit, tho!

Mike...my wife didn't like your idea. Maybe cause I added 'female' high school teens when I posed it. Kidding, of course!
