This one hits close to home. Did my first solo and countless patterns at JVY. The weather isn't terrible here. LiveATC archive is unremarkable. Standard callouts at JVY, check-in with SDF departure, cleared to climb, over to Indy Center on 124.77, departure hails them a few minutes later. Departure then requests a departing SkyWest flight to check for ELT. Reported negative. Haven't been able find any other comms from them.

I hate to see these recurring incidents. It's like a kick in the gut.

Update: attorneys are looking at active winglets installed by Tamarack. According to Tamarack's FAQs, a failure of the winglet could lead to an uncommanded roll. EASA issued an emergency AD requiring deactivation of the devices before flight.

I don’t know a lot about those ‘active winglets’, but not something one would want to malfunction.
