Pre-takeoff checklist
Hey Guys,
We are very happy to inform that the initial results of our 2011 registration drive are very encouraging. By the end of the first week thirty (30) pilots have registered to fly the mass arrival.
This year's mass arrival is scheduled for July 23rd at 14:30 CDT. We will again meet for the final pre-flight brief in the main hangar of Wisconsin Aviation[/URL] at Dodge County Airport[/URL] in Juneau, Wisconsin at 11:00 CDT. The Letter of Agreement (LOA) between the FAA and Cessnas 2 Oshkosh has been drafted and is ready for signing. The FAA has again approved the participation of 75 aircraft.
As in previous years we require that every pilot wishing to participate in the mass arrival registers in our website, pays the registration fee of $50.00 per person over 12 years of age at the time of registration, participates in at least one formation flight training clinic in the year of the arrival and be present at the final pre-flight brief in Juneau. We do not make exceptions to these requirements.
Several formation flight training clinics have already been scheduled and more are in the final planning stages. The schedule will be published shortly in our website at http://www.cessnas2oshkosh.com/clinics, our monthly newsletter at http://www.cessnas2oshkosh.com/newsletter, this forum and other Internet aviation forums. The first 2011 issue of our newsletter is scheduled for publishing on March 1st. To join our newsletter mailing list fill out our subscription form[/URL].
