1974 Grumman AA5 Traveler with 160hp STC
FRESH ANNUAL AS OF 8/2021 - ALL AD'S COMPLIED WITH
SB195A/ AD21-14-12 complied with as well
Will deliver for costs and provide insurance checkout
Flown weekly
Approx. 3570 hours TTAF
Approx. 1461 SMOH (987 since Don George 160 STC)
ADS-B out (Stratus ES transponder)
STEC 40 Autopilot coupled to NAV and Heading bug
Garmin 496 GPS
Garmin GNC 255A Nav Com radio installed
New skytec starter (2019)
This airplane is a smooth flying airplane that is equipped with a cruise prop and is the perfect first airplane or economical cruiser. TAS around 125kts while sipping less than 9GPH.
Priced accordingly as it does need paint. The paint is original so it shows some wear. I would put the paint at a 3/10 for the most part. Interior is a 7/10. Not the worst but could be improved quickly with an airtex interior. Will be getting a fresh IFR cert. this week along with a preventative Corrosion X treatment.

Had a 74 Traveler. Great aircraft. Good luck with the sale.

We're on completely different sides of the US. However, it doesn't mean I'm not interested. Would need to figure out if the current setup would work for me to get IFR certified and then how to get it across the country. Would be a heck of a flight trip, but I think the struggle will be to convince the wife to purchase a plane so far away.
