This is an amazing Aero Commander Darter 100, who wouldn't want one of these?
They are practically a Cessna 172 with a Mooney tail, it's best of both worlds!
Cruising at 111 KIAS and only burning 8 GPH this aircraft is an affordable and fun one to fly.
This specific Aero Commander Darter 100 has been kept in great shape with no accidents, very low time, & annual inspection is up to date.

Never seen such a plane.
Looks pretty cool

There is an aircraft that requires 180 horses to do what a C-172 can on 145.

The design began life as the three-seat, 135-hp Volaire 10 of 1961, later upgraded to 150 hp and four seats (Volaire 10A).

Aero Commander Division of Rockwell Standard bought the design in 1965 and called it the Aero Commander 100, and later "Darter Commander".

Commander expanded the line in 1968 with a 180 hp version called Model 100-180 "Lark Commander" with a new cowl, aft-swept fin and rudder, and nicer trim.

Production of the 100/Darter ended in 1969 with 355 built; 213 Lark Commanders were built, the last in 1971.

That market was a difficult place to compete in the 70s = 335 built. =they couldn't.

That is pretty cool! I love that there's always some plane I've never seen or heard of before.

I like it!
