Some refer to today's desktop computer flight simulators as "games". This "Flight Simulator" from 1965 really was a game -- a board game, complete with dice, challenge cards and playing pieces. The board is the WAC chart covering Southern California to central Arizona. There are four marked routes from SoCal to Phoenix, each with waypoints lettered 'A' to 'Z'. Players advance along the route by correctly answering aeronautical knowledge questions. If I remember correctly, the game was written by a young Barry Schiff. I had one of these when they were new. It's fun to take a simulated flight back to the '60s.
