Had the pads replaced on my 182 a few weeks back. Under braking I'm getting a loud groaning noise since then, I talked to the mechanic and he said get a few landings in to wear the pads in and it'll be fine. I've got a dozen in and it seems to only get worse. Have you ever had this happen?

This has been a common gripe lately amongst the 180 crowd, alot of us have been asking wtf? What brand are the brake linings? Im planning on switching back to Cleveland's after these Black Steels wear out. Seems like the B.S. brand is the culprit, they work great, but it is really annoying...
I've run all of the limited options on the market for brake linings, they all squeal briefly under certain circumstances, but the recent batch of B.S. do it all the time! I have to taxi down a hill to get to my runway and they squeal the whole friggin way, sounds like baby seals being clubbed to death
