172Q to Edmonton in Feb?

Thanks for the tips, Dan. We might try to scoot out between storms Saturday, and that wouldn't leave time for a fun stop. Sure having fun exploring Edmonton, so we're looking forward to Calgary even if it's not until the next trip.

Have you experienced Princess Auto yet? A Canadian-guy thing. Tools and stuff. Sorta like Harbor Freight but better. Never know what you might find. There's one in the NW corner of Edmonton and another way out the south side not far off the QE2.

Be careful. Might exceed gross weight if you spend too much time at Princess.

I'd forgotten about that from my years in BC. Was tempted by a Canadian Tire yesterday but so far have been able to resist. It helps that our monochromatic money is worth less here.

I'm glad to have a 172Q, plus we brought a bunch of consumables so we probably have several hundred pounds of margin, which is really nice in the terrain and weather we'll probably be in. Still, I like your advice. :)
