12-yr old glider spins

I just love watching Lillymae spin the glider.

There's another video of her 14th birthday solo, barefoot with flower in her hair, singing to herself the whole time. It's pretty good, too.

Wow, awesome. The voice of a little girl in the cockpit during spins is pretty abnormal. She's not screaming and crying. She's actually enjoying it! Awesome.
"Wow, that felt good." - "Wanna do another one?" - "Sure."
I gather she'll grow up to be either an airshow pilot or maybe an airline captain.
We need more kids like her, flying long before they can do integrals and derivations.
Kudos, Lillymae, you go, girl!!

Her first solo gliding video got me hooked on gliding.

I find it hard to spin a Schweizer 2-33 with my students. We are flying close to Max GW so the CG is forward and it spirals out quickly. With a light 12 yr old and light instructor, it would do pretty good. But you can see the airspeed increase before the rotation stops, starting to spiral out of the spin.
