First of all, thank you for all of the valuable information here. A great resource for training information here!

So here are some stats for me since becoming a Cherokee owner and taking my first lesson on November 12, 2012. (As some recall I bought my plane and learned to fly it from the beginning)

In 11 months and 3 weeks 200.2 total hours (earned my PPL April 15, 2013 at 79 hours including 20 hours of XC time. Advantage of owning the plane)

386 Take offs and landings.

49 New airports!

9 Different States!

Wow, what a ride so far!

Dave

I'm sure that 200 hours isn't a record pre-PPASEL high, but I wonder if 49 airports and 9 states might be... congratulations!

Re-read OP, this is in less than a year and PPLASEL was in April. Just a year of exploring my new "Time Machine".

Not looking to break or set any records, just doing it for the Love and Freedom of the Flight!

Thanks all for the compliments. IFR is next, I hope.

Dave

Congrats!!!

If you come out to Buffalo let me know :)

Once you get your IFR there'll. be no stopping you.
