Pre-takeoff checklist
I had the opportunity to fly into Winsted airport this past weekend. While Winsted is a great little town, its airfield is my favorite reason to visit. 3200'x200' grass runway...
I suggest flying in on the weekend, bringing a lunch, and enjoying the view. There are a number of vintage and experimental birds based there, and you are almost garenteed to see a few jumpers (with chutes of course).
10D, west of the MSP Bravo. 100LL looks to be available too.
