100th airport

For some reason I decided to dig through my logbook and count how many different airports appear on it. Came up with 101.

#101 was Gaston's, so that's kinda cool.

#100 was IJX, which while a nice airport, isn't as exciting. Didn't know it was 100 or I would've gone somewhere more special.

Anybody else track this sort of stuff?

Because of my work I have landed at 516 airports. The breakdown is US-492, Canada-12, Mexico-1, Bahamas-8, and the remainder of the Caribbean-2. Since I'm over 65 for work I'll only be able to add to the US and Canada. As for letters and numbers I'm missing K. Q, Z and 4

ORD and MDW are still on my list..

I learned to fly at Cushing Field 0C8. Great little grass strip. It appears they have hangers now.

What do you do?

For 3 years I flew 135 Charters which was followed by 7 years at a Commuter Airline. That was followed by 22 years at a Major. For the last 6 1/2 years I've been flying PC-12s for a Fractional

Being a helicopter guy, my off-airport landings outnumber my airport landings 10,00 to one. It would take me too long to add up all my airports world wide, but there's sure a bunch of 'em.
