100K+ 172N .... still on the market

Well equipped, but it's still a 172.

It is listed for $85k. ($105k with fresh overhaul). I seem to recall it being listed quite a bit higher earlier, but I can't find the previous link.
If I wasn't always in a hurry to get somewhere, this sounds like a plane I would enjoy.
But it is still a 172.

That's the problem with decking out a trainer plane. At the end of the day it's still a trainer 172 and that amount of coin can buy you something alot faster!

Only way to fit it out like that is if you plan on keeping it forever or you have more money than you need and are a giving person.

Man, that a whole lotta glass in a very slow look-out-the-window airplane.

I do get the Reiff XL in Vermont, though! Most important addition to the airplane right there, in that climate! :)

If it was a 182, it might be worth 115K with a fresh OH and that panel.

You're lucky to recoup 50% of the value of a fresh avionics install on a resale. Doing this extreme panel was a money pit adventure. Original interior, and not a 180 hp conversion. I doubt they could squeeze $65K out of this.

If someone was going to buy a Chevy Malibu for 80K, then certainly someone out there will buy this one for 100K :)

Ref here :)

I think I am just going to offer 60K and OH and see how many F words I get :d:d

Should get 85k.. would probably get close to 100k if the engine wasn't run out.

Offer 60k without OH, but show your money is where your mouth is.... He very well might say yes just to recover some of his cash so he can move on to next project.

Then make the most out of that really nice engine monitor and fly it for as many hours as you can until it needs OH'ing, saving the cash for it as you go.

This is also one aircraft that can appreciate Garmin's new database price structure..
