So what was the "spiritual" connection to the first namesake movie that JJ mentioned?

Dunno I'm not a JJ Abrams fan and after seeing that and the previous for star trek I won't be!

We saw it. John Goodman was great as usual, and the babe was easy to look at. That movie certainly has a lot of twists n' turns, that's for sure. And that's about all I can really say without saying too much.
