Done. It'll just take me until 10-11:30 due my usual puttering delays.

Yeah.. I imagine your wife just might be working on Sunday mornings. :P

We'll arrange a Saturday again soon. I'm just in a mode now where I'm barely coming up for air and I need Saturday to be ready.

I'll be taking some 3 day weekends soon to use up vacation time so I'll be more available.

I should be able to join you. Need to be at O'Hare around 3PM to pick up Leslie, so I'll need to leave around 1PM. Just booked the 210 from 10-2.

I can be there from 11:30 until 1:00.
I was just talking to Mike and we saying 10:30 can you split the difference and make it 11 otherwise we probably (I know I can) come later?

Also just in case no one has been there before you park down at Burrows Aviation.

And how about you Wisconsin guys!!!

Well, I just got word from Leslie. Her plane gets into ORD @ 1:52, so I need to be back @ 1C5 by 1:00. I'll see if I can move the plane earlier and meet you at 10:30. Also, Leslie's looking at maybe flying into SBM commercial and meeting up with us, if they have service into there.

No commercial service into KSBM. I think your only choices are Appleton and Milwaukee

Leslie won't be joining us. I've got a flight with an instructor at 8:00, because I'm out of currency in the 210. Will leave fr SBM after that, and hope to be back at 1C5 by 1:00.

What the hell I haven't flown on of them Powered aircraft in a while. I'll be there

I need to take my wife to MKE for a 1:35pm flight to BOS. So, I'll have to take a pass. Dang it!

Great idea, though!
Bring her with, then fly her to MKE! She'd probably need to pack light, though!

Do you think they'd mind if I pulled the 172 up next to the Midwest Boeing 717 to drop her off?
Well, we've parked a 172 at the gate next to an Air New Zealand 747 before, so who knows? http://www.pilotsofamerica.com/gallery/showimage.php?i=75&c=6 Just get permission from the airline controlling the gate, at least in countries that aren't ruled by the TSA. In this case, it might be better to go into Signature and have them shuttle her to the terminal. Make them work for their $$!

Apparently, I missed the talk about this get-together. I'd be interested in joining the rest of you, but the plane is booked all day tomorrow. If someone is either leaving or passing through the area (and has room), I'd love to join in.

The nearest airport to my house is Timmerman (MWC), but I could drive to another place in the area. I realize it's last minute, but can I hitch a ride with someone?

Marty, I sent you a PM, but I should be able to take both you and your wife.

Well I am off to the airport. I hav eto load up a new database into the GPS that I had not done yet this cycle and then will be off. Wheels up for me should be about 9:30 to 9:45

I may be an hour later to wait for the "mist" to burn off.

Currently in the forecast it's supposed to lift just about when I get to Milwaukee. If it looks like it's lollygagging I might wait it out a little, but the way I go, I'll likely be so late I won't be close.

Well, I couldn't make it because of mechanical difficulties with the plane. :( Unfortunately, that meant Marty's ride dried up too. Really a shame, since Scott went right over KMWC and could have picked him up, had he known!

Pete was in a pokey 182. He's mad because I beat him there.

I'm wondering why I didn't climb over the scattered clouds on the way home instead of bouncing until the state line. Brain block. Well, that and they weren't so scattered.

Decided to head to KLAF instead of KJVL as the pax doesn't like the gusty winds. I had an 80 kt GS on the way there, and hit 129 coming home:-)

No gusts up north though. I had a 20 kt tailwind but it was calm at the surface. Oh Well! One of these times we shall all be able to hook up with ya!

I got 150 knots northbound and as little as 100 knots southbound, but I had the power back in the beemps. There were some bounces in the pattern due to a little bit of ground thermals even in the morning.

Sorry I couldn't make it -- didn't even see this until tonight. I've been swamped at work, and then was out of town for the weekend (not flying )

next time,
