The 1973 fixed gear Cardinal, hangared at STS, has 6790 TT, 670 SMOH plus:

- new Garmin GTN 650 IFR GPS with GI-106a
- IFR certified
- KX-155 Navcom
- Garmin Aera
- 406 mhz ELT
- LED landing and taxi lights
- 180 HP
-constant speed prop
- 907 lb useful load
- fixed gear

I don't know how the 1 - 10 rating system works so I'll just say the outside is in decent shape and the inside is a little worn. There was a prop strike about 3 years ago (hit a taxi light) which resulted in a prop and engine overhaul. No other damage history that I know of. Complete log books since new.

This a a nine person equity partnership that has been in existence since 1974 when the plane had 100 hours on it.

I'm selling my share for $6000.

Monthly dues are $160 per month which covers the hangar, insurance, oil changes, annuals and miscellaneous

In addition to the above there is a $25/hour fee which goes towards the overhaul.

The Cardinal is a good cross country plane with a large useful load. My wife and I have had many adventures in it, including flying up to Canada. I am only selling my share because I had to let my medical expire.

Booking of the plane is handled through an online software program.

Each member may take the plane for one two-week trip per year. There is no limit on one-week trips. Out of the nine partners, only four actually fly on a semi-regular basis, so scheduling is usually not an issue.

I have been a member of the club, including acting treasurer for two years, and can honestly say it has been a great experience. All of the members are easy to deal with and the plane is properly managed both financially and maintenance wise.

If you'd like to see the plane and arrange for a flight, call Gary at 707-322-5605 or email at gaw.ebm@gmail.com.
