Pre-takeoff checklist
Anyone interested? 1/3rd would be $10k. Guaranteed you'll have more fun than in any Piper or Cessna built after 1955, and at a much lower cost.
- Engine is an O-200. An L-2 is significantly faster than a cub on 65hp (85mph vs 65 to 70mph), so with the O-200 this plane is a great performer. The -M model even has spoilers, which makes it a lot of fun.
- Rear seat has a large bubble canopy for an observer, and swivels 180 degrees.
- Plane has a good transponder and single COM in the panel.
- 100mph cruise on 5gph...far better than a Cub, with much better short field performance.
- New fabric and paint four years ago.
- New tires, recently overhauled mags and carburetor.
- Sticks, no yokes. Like God intended airplanes to be flown.
