Just past 1,000 hrs of flight time in the logbook. First flight 9/25/03.

Still need more to reach 1,000 as PIC but still a milestone anyway.

OMG ! It must of taken forever and cost millions of dollars, oh the humanity !

Just doing my impression of one of the whiners complaining about the 1500 hour rule :D

Good job keep going total time is just a number it's the memories associated with those hours that count.

Welcome to the 1000 Hour Club! You can now...um, well, you really can't do anything special.

But I'll buy you a Shiner Bock beer when you stay at the hotel. How's that? :D

Someone really should come up with a hat, or a pin, or a watch, or something for pilots who hit 1000 hours. Entrepreneurs, anyone?

One of my dreams is to do a cross country trip so I will certainly pass through Texas to get that beer!

Congrats! That's a special milestone!

Congratulations! It's a milestone for sure. The CFI I had for my PPL told me when I was just a student, that I would remember my first solo and my 1000 hour mark. I guess that's the way it was for him anyways.

I actually remember my check rides pretty well too, although my instrument way more than my PP. I'm pretty sure I passed the 1000 mark recently too, but since I don't total up my logbook all that often, I'm not exactly sure when. When I do get around to the numbers, I'll probably do a little Snoopy dance and have a shot of Makers!

Anyhow, congratulations again! Not everyone that earns the license make it that far.

Congrats and cheers to you're continued survival and prepared airmanship. ;)

I'll be ecstatic when I hit 1000 hours as I will qualify for a restricted ATP!

I'll finally be able to start clawing my way up.

How did you make it to 1,000 hours staying in those few little states? ;-)

Congrats!

Oshkosh trips, IFR currency, Virginia to see the in-laws and a lot of hamburger runs.

And actually, the northeast and mid Atlantic are some of the most beautiful places to fly.

They are indeed; I'm based in Pittsburgh myself. Not quite as exciting as the South West, but still lovely places to fly!

Congrats..... Doing that on your own dime is a great accomplishment. I did it on your dime as well as that of all my other fellow citizens!!! :D

Good for you, hope you appreciated it.Fly safe

I remember when I crossed over 1,000 hours. Nothing exciting, just on a cross country with a student.

Congratulations, the first thousand is a milestone.

Congratulations!

I can still remember ticking over 1,000 hours. I was in a Cessna 210 over a dam wall at the top end of a massive inland lake. I also remember being very excited.

Here's to many more safe hours aloft.

Cheers

Owen

Congrats!

Don't really remember my first 1k.

The big ones for me

First solo
PPL
250hrs -CPL
First turbine PIC flight
Hitting all the reqs for my ATP.

Out of those the first solo still was, by far, the most memorable!

I wonder if 1k is a number that changes your insurance, you should tell your insurance guy too!

You should have, like, done a loop or something. That would have made it more interesting.
