IFR XC of shooting 3 different kinds of approaches with NA

    1. Why wouldn’t you just do the Localizer circle to runway X and not have to deal with explaining why you did two ILS approaches? 2. If the approach is NA at night, I wouldn’t use it at night on an ifr flight plan. Not saying atc wouldn’t clear you for it….

    61.129 Commercial instrument time

The easiest answer is to have the original instructor correct their entries to include the 61.129 references, assuming that it will be true. And of course, Assuming they are still around. You only need 10hrs to reflect 61.129, so include the ifr xc and a few training flights and you’re done...

All three Las Vegas airports will charge a $3,000 landing fee during F1 races

You all know there are ramp issues most weekends in Vegas? LAS typically wants a reservation at the FBO, North Vegas has its own space issues. The ramp space hasn't kept up with the growth. As for the race itself, $3k landing fee is the least of your issues.

Officially quit IT after 25 years in April. Flying for a fractional now, you won’t regret it. I have no airline desires.

    Help me understand ATP requirements

Ha. Other than the two minutes to review the atp written results, it wasn’t even mentioned. I don’t think I was any more stressed because of it, since all types are to atp standards anyway.

    Help me understand ATP requirements

You can’t just go take the atp multi written anymore. You must do a ctp course first ($4-6k), and employer will pay for this normally, then you’ll do your written and you can do your atp checkride as part of your first type rating.. I went thru this as well recently, including leaving IT after...

Getting low and slow on short short final

105mph (blue line) in the old Seneca has always been my preference, until landing is committed. It sure doesn’t take much effort to slow to 90-95 when you put the flaps in..

    Transporting your firearm

The OP is asking about transporting his firearms, not carrying them in every state that he enters. Just lock them in a case unloaded and be on about your way, until you get to a state that bans specific models of specific things. (Like California)
