    ECI Cylinder AD and replacement

    I believe that ECI recommends using the Phillips X/C 20/50 oil. It is not straight mineral oil but it is mineral based. You can use that oil through-out the life of the engine.

    Scott, you did not say where the cracks were located. On the cylinder that separated on my O-360, the cylinder separated just above the barrel. I am not sure that you could see a crack in that location.

    Don, you may be correct but two of the switches have broken plastic rockers and since we have to replace two of them now, why not just do the rest? It may also be possible that while the "wrench guy" is in there doing that job, he may stumble upon something suspicious.
