    Get a copy of the CFI Practical Test Standards and it will explain everything that you need to do. Of course. first you need a CPL with an Instrument rating. You can be a Glider CFI without the Instrument rating. Skyking:smile::blueplane:

    CFI - Regular Instructor or Academy?

    I agree with the previous two posts. American Flyers will get you the CFI and CFII in 30 days. Since you have some of the writtens done, they may cut you a deal on ground school. Tailwinds, Skyking:blueplane:

    Well, first you don't seem to mention your ratings or experience. Ag flying has changed in the last few years. Everything is dictated by the insurance companies. When I started over forty years ago, no one carried insurance. Now, it is almost impossible to get insurance without an Ag School...

    Should I fly into KLAS?

    WEll, McCarran has a ramp fee of $60 @ Atlantic and their fuel is over $7/gal. Try this site: http://www.airnav.com/airport/KLAS I suggest KHND. They have a shuttle and their charges are much more reasonable. I live close to Las Vegas and have been to both airports in the last year...
