I have a 2006 Sky Ranger[fabric covered] a Yaesu 550 transceiver.I would like to know the best location for an antenna,type of antenna,and do i need a 20x30 inch ground [aluminum] plane-thanks.

the noise stops when shut off. ANY ideas/suggestions greatly appreciated. I did find a new ground source and that did help alot.

Use or dump? Rotax 912 UL 80hp. Coolant Is indicating255 F/Oil is 190 F,Exterior heat gun on Radiator shows 170 F in the inlet area and 140 F on the outlet area. I suspect a bad water temp sender. Thanks for ANY Ideas/suggestions.

Rotax operator Manual says 87 Octane is ok for the 80hp 912,nothing is said about 10% ethanol.I would like a general consensus from current owners. Thanks

headset noise eliminated by use of fiber /nylon washers before mounting nuts for all 4 headset jacks on panel. gr8 article Kit Planes 2022 -Get Grounded.

I have a new LSA and have alot of static in the headset, esp. from strobe type nav lights. Next time out ill try a different headset. I think i have to start shielding some lines,rerouting some and possibly find different grounds. Any input would be appreciated-thanks. 2006 Skyranger/912

On a new installation I have 1 yellow and 2 white wires [outside the bundle] Can anyone identify these 3 wires. Thanks Don F.

i want to buy and install[myself] an older[used] mode c transponder. Class Delta air space doesnt require 1 but atc cant see me on their scope and other a/c may not either. I will attempt with a wiring diagram only. any info is very much welcome.
