I have to wonder if vapor lock was an issue with those outside temps. I've rejected takeoffs after an engine stumble a couple of times on hot days when the fuel pressure dropped off at full throttle. I was burning mogas which has a lower vapor pressure than 100LL so that probably contributed.

The problem with the more sensitive stuff is that it will likely make it into Iranian hands and from there possibly to the Chinese or Russians. The other stuff like rifles, trucks, artillery, and other useful equipment can be turned against the resistance forming over there or can be used to...

We just use a lawnmower at my friends hangar on a grass strip. Same problem with the slope but kills two birds with one stone since we often need to mow the runway before we go fly.
