Stomach Pain - when to go to doctor?

We do, too. It's called the MIB. HIPAA? LOL The only people you would NOT want to know about your medical history have a better copy of it than you do.

    Oooooold Lien release.

Some states have quiet title actions for such situations. I have no idea whether California does. That's something you would have to investigate. You may be able to do the work yourself without hiring an attorney. No one in his or her right mind would buy an airplane with a lien against it...

    Oooooold Lien release.

The answer to your question may vary based on which state you're in.

    Signature picture

If there is an [I M G] tag at the end of your entry in the signature, remove it. Normally an image has an [I M G] tag before and an [/I M G] after. If there is an extra [I M G] tag, it's showing up as text.

    Blocked Profiles

Does anyone know what happened to @Skyrys62? He hasn't been around in a while.

    Blocked Profiles

Actually, that's not the case. You know who they are, but they turn off access to their profiles, which have no information in them anyway. The function makes the forum software looks like it's broken. You click on a valid link but you get an error message. The correct way, IMHO, is to just not...

Stomach Pain - when to go to doctor?

Plus, if you don't report the visit and the outcome, you're violating FAA regulations for which there are consequences.

I agree with the policy and am glad that people have a choice. However, there is no privacy on the Internet. Ask Equifax.

Stomach Pain - when to go to doctor?

I shudder to think how many pilots are avoiding healthcare because they don't want to be flagged on their medicals.

    Blocked Profiles

It doesn't make sense why some people choose not to include at least their state in their profiles, but it boggles my mind that someone would block access to their profile. When you click on it, you get an error. That's not very neighborly. As a new member here, it's helpful to learn a little...

Stop Start Stop Here we go again

Bumping this thread, it seems like I'm having some second thoughts about seriously flying again. The cost to fly is so much higher than it was before that it's a little hard for me to justify flying as a hobby. Do any other rusty pilots get cold feet along the way?

    "Best" IFR Home Study Course?

It's good to know that King has such good content, but I don't think I can take John and Martha.

What would you do if you found out the plane you bought was not airworthy?

Be careful threatening with an action that could be interpreted as extortion. Your flight path may vary.

What would you do if you found out the plane you bought was not airworthy?

It seems to me that there may be two issues here. If your friend bought the plan "as is", he's stuck unless the seller wants to thelp. The A&P signing off on a plane that is not airworthy is another issue. The FAA probably wants to know about it. However, using the A&P's misbehavior as leverage...

    Fuel exhaustion incident...

Thankfully a lot of people feel the same way you do except they start getting rid of them at 65,000 miles. As a result, I drive for cheap. Doing so leaves more money for fun things, like airplanes. My car is a 2003 Tribute. My wife's car is a 2000 Lexus. We're going to continue driving both...

    Accelerated Dual for Instrument

Is there a school in Southeast US that provides accelerated dual instruction for an instrument rating? I'd like to get mine, but there's a shortage of CFIIs in the area. Plus, I'd like to move quicker, if I decide to move at all. How quickly can an instrument rating be obtained?

Congratulations. It's 35 years since I've flown, so I hope I'm not up for 35 dual. That's expensive.
