I would also like to get into Gliders this year. Does anyone know what the height/weight limit is? I am 6ft 4in and 240. Not sure if I fit the size limits for gliders but would sure like to get into it if I do.

Bryan, I had some of the same feelings as you about getting Instrument Rating. I def would say that getting complex, tailwheel, high performance endorsements would be more fun. I put off the instrument for a long time since i fly purely for pleasure and have no intentions of making a career...

I own a 72 Citabria 7ECA. Recently while flying my EGT guage dropped to only read about half of the normal temperature range. Shortly after that in the same flight it dropped down to zero. I have continued to fly the plane but the EGT guage needle reading is either on zero or barely bouncing...

Thanks for the feedback. Yes I always leaning aggressively for taxi which has made a big difference. Do you know what hotter plug you would run for that particular engine? I believe I am running Champion 40E's currently.

Dave from what I can tell it does not have a negative or a positive castor angle but a neutral castor angle. I have attached pictures. Thanks

Based on attached pics can any of you tell if the tailwheel spring is "sprung" ? I thought everything looked ok on it. And the movement seemed good on it while I had it jacked up. The ears did appear to be slightly bent upwards. The tire is worn pretty bad in the center. It is a Scott 3200
