Thanks for the responses guys. I live in the caribbean and over here we have a radio practical included in our final private pilot exams..so im in the process of prepping for that.

can anyone tell me how to request special vfr and make a PIREP? im a sudent pilot.

thanks Doc Bruce...:) appreciate the advice...i will report the stiff/sore neck as i emailed you...and iv gotten a letter from my eye specialist for my minor eye surgery stating i have no problems concerning my eye sight..other than my BP is fine no criminal records etc...so i am hoping for the...

so i can actually fill out the form online at home...print it...and then add it to him..minus the cut out code when i get to the office??

medical ( yes DR. Bruce....i put my age now...so lets hear your good advice) ANY suggestions on how to prepare for my Class 3 medical next week?? For example the do's and dont's...any info.

wow :) at diana thats so kool that you feel with it and don't let it limit you!! im about to start flight skl next month once i pass my medical...and i psych myself out tinkin i wont pass my medical..for a lil issue...(wen every1 including doc Bruce said i should be ok) but ur success story...

thats one awesome success story..hmmm i quit believing i cud pass my medical as well....i dont have wat hemophilia..just a persistent stiff neck....but i am determined to become a pilot

are there any pilots on here with medical conditons such as ankylosing spondylitis ..rheumatoid arthritis or any thing related to those conditions..but still maintain their medical??

OK guys..my doc said my blood test results were very negative for everything he tested me for..including rheumatoid factor..thyroid disease and so on...he also did some general tests to see if i may have an infection but that to is negative...i am def tinking about goin for my medical..i guess...

yup..the blood test is to see if i have rheumatoid arthritis ...he told me he suspected ankylosing spondylitis BUT i do not have that constant pain in my SI joint neither any symptoms associated with it...so basically just running a couple of tests that should indicate if there is something...
