    Call signs?

I've got a question on aircraft call signs, specifically for PA28s. I got my private in a Warrior, and when talking to ATC, I either said "Warrior N..." or "Cherokee". Never had any problems until I got to the collegiate program I'm in now and started flying the Arrow. I was taxiing one day, and...

    training aircraft ownership/leaseback

Oh I love how entertaining threads can get lol. Like someone said earlier, I think the only way this would make any sense is if I do most of the instructing in the plane and using it as a time builder, which is what I intend to do. How realistic would it be to be a "freelance"...

    training aircraft ownership/leaseback

I'm looking for some opinions from those that know far more than I do! I'm just finishing up my commercial in a 141 school, and will be getting my CFI over the summer. Obviously, I've been thinking of what I plan to do with the CFI rating. I'm thinking of buying a small, relatively cheap...

    iPad mini - Windscreen/windshield Mounts

I really like that setup! My problem is this. I'm a student at MTSU, and fly a different DA40 every time I go up. I'd like a mount like that, but one that I can move from plane to plane.

DA40 & Piper Arrow vs. C172 and Cherokee

I have just transferred to MTSU, which flies DA40s. I got my private in a Warrior so I'm dealing with the transition as well. I've only had 3 or 4 flights in the Diamond so far, but I absolutely love it. It is the best airplane I've ever flown, including SR20s. The stick is great, light, much...

    First (real) no flap landing

It's good practice! My first instructor was old school, started flying in the 1940s. First 20 or so landings that I did were no flap landings haha, he wouldn't let me use them.

Thanks for the input guys. This would be several years away if I went anywhere, so plenty of time for research :)

    benefits of international flying experience?

Hey guys, I haven't posted on here much, I've mainly just been reading. But I have been thinking about this, and hoping to start a good conversation on the subject with people that know far more than I do! haha. So I'm studying at MTSU now, just started working on my instrument rating. I'll...

    new to MTSU Aerospace Program

Hello! Just wondering if there are any fellow MTSU students on this forum. Today is my first day in the aerospace program, I earned my private a couple months ago and I'm going into the instrument program at MTSU.
