    Just Quit Training

He was a student looking for inspiration to continue on. Everybody needs a pat on the back every now and then that says "hang in there". In no way, shape or form do you know enough about the OP to judge if he was mature or not. Quite frankly, it isn't your call to deem him flight worthy or not...

    Just Quit Training

Back to my original message. I wish more people with mentor qualities chimed in. Last I checked we need more pilots not elitists. Good for Matt for continuing his training. All my best, Matt

This is not complicated. He started off his post, "I need some advice." You turned that into an opportunity to be a keyboard warrior and sucker punched the guy. You replied to my post- that is my point. -M

    Omaha People- Sport Pilot Locations??

I'll be heading out to Lincoln to check things out. I've done a few rounds in a Cessna 150 and it might be a little easier to learn the feel of the 162 they have. All my best, Matt

    Just Quit Training

That is a shame... Actually, I don't know what the deal is on this thread, but for the short while I have been on this forum it has been exceedingly supportive. Given there seem to be a few "know-it-alls" there have also been a few that have taken a mentor tone. Shame more of those people didn't...

    Omaha People- Sport Pilot Locations??

Hello. I am an aspiring pilot working on my Sport Pilot. I just got off the phone with my flight instructor and the owner of the light sport aircraft I train on is moving it out of the state. I currently have about 14 hours of flight time in with Advanced Air out of KCBF but can no longer do...

Creative ways to finance Flight Training

That is more or less what I am doing now. My instructor prefers to be up no more than 1.25 hours at a time. But you know what? I am just grateful I can fly :). All my best, Matt

Creative ways to finance Flight Training

Well, have you considered sport pilot, versus PPL? That is what I am doing. The wife and I budget X amount of lessons each month and go from there. You could just go for your lessons at a slower pace. Best, Matt
