    Anyone used Aircraftmagnetoservice.com?

Need to send out 4 magnetos off the Seneca for their 500 hour service. Anyone used them before or have a shop you used and were happy with? Thanks! Jason

Want To Buy Seneca II w/ FIKI

Good models are hard to find. And bring a premium. I bought mine off market...knew of it for 5 years before the owner decided to sell....then jumped on it. Been a great bird.

Flying for 30 years and NOW I have a panic attack????

I always thought a panic attack was the time after your plane leaves annual through the time before you receive the invoice.

What's the best airport for Downtown Chicago?

Heading up to Chicago next month, what's the best GA airport close to downtown? Not looking at Midway and O'hare for the gas prices, but trying to figure out the most convenient otherwise. Thanks, Jason

796 doing a firmware update in the middle of a flight

My 796 which is harnessed to my 650 has done this a couple of times now. It will have a note popup saying it’s doing a firmware update and be out of commission for 5 minutes. I use it for weather and approach plates. Luckily it hasn’t happened on an approach but is there any way to make this a...

    Air-to-Air Seneca

It’s a Hot plate for ice. It gives me something to look out of when I get ice on the windshields.

    Air-to-Air Seneca

Nice meeting you too Jack. I had a great time and the shots are absolutely beautiful!! I also learned that I could run my engines at 6gph each and stay in the air!! I go back and forth between the enchanted rock and the dam as my favorite.

    No gps signal to 796

Bought a new external gps antenna to try first before trying the internal battery. Plugged in the new antenna and it acquired the signal just like when it was new.

    No gps signal to 796

My 796 would acquire satellites quick. It has started taking 5-15 minutes to get a signal and the signal seems lower than it was previously. Do the antenna's go out or should it go back to garmin? Was curious if anyone had a similar issue before. Thanks! Jason

    Twin gurus

This is correct. I figure 21-22gph total and never run above 65% except takeoff. You need the Merlyns for engine life (wastegate controller). It has a different mission than the mooney as someone posted. I get 165 KTAS at 10k and 173 KTAS at 16-18 running 65%. If you want a single engine service...

What's the best airport in Denver to get to downtown/GA friendly?

Landed at KApa yesterday. Super easy to get into and fairly busy. Kept the plane at Tac air and caught an uber downtown. Thanks for the advice everyone. Looks like the schedule is a little crazy and unpredictable so I probably won't be able to plan a meetup, but thanks for the hospitality. Jason

What's the best airport in Denver to get to downtown/GA friendly?

I don't know our schedule yet, but I am up for that. Should know early next week. Country Fire Volleyball out of Liberty Hill, Texas. What club are y'all with? Did you qualify for the tour or playing Cross Court?
