Precision Air crash in Lake Victoria, TZ

I looked up Bukoba on googol Earth and found that the runway at Bukoba is, as mentioned by Himayeti, around 4500ft. long; however, it is a paved runway and not a turf/dirt runway as shown in the above news article. Now I'm confused (not unusual for me). Where did this crash occur?

I've been to Tanzania, and dirt runways are the norm except at the Dar Es Salaam and Kilimanjaro airports.

Sometimes the line between holding, diverting, or trying the approach can be slightly grey.

Has nobody pointed out the irony of an airline called “Precision” missing the runway altogether, regardless of short or long?

I’d like to think my crash was a precision one. I put it down right between the trees.
