I'm an instrument student in CMA renting from Camarillo Flight Instruction, and I'm looking for a safety pilot to build XC and hood time

The failure to mention the name in lieu of a three letter code used to bother me. Then I realized that if I don't recognize the 3 letter code, it's probably more than a 300nm away , and whatever it is that's being requested won't really apply to me.
